An Interfaith Accompaniment Story @ Congregation B'nai Tikvah

We have been invited to join our friends at Congregation B'nai Tikvah (and our partners with the Immigrant Accompaniment Team) to meet Leandro and Gabriela, and to learn about one family’s experience with our broken immigration system.

We have been helping Leandro and Gaby address a variety of issues and needs associated with their immigration status, and we’d like you to meet this wonderful family and share in their experience. We will be gathering at Congregation B'nai Tikvah from 3:00-5:00 pm to hear first-hand about the family’s experience, with time for questions and answers.

We will also share a light dinner, featuring Gaby’s home cooked tamales, and have plenty of time to socialize and learn how we can help to make our communities a more welcoming place for immigrant families.

Congregation B'nai Tikvah is located at 25 Hillcroft Way, Walnut Creek, CA 94597

For more information contact Rev. Jim (, 925-254-4906) or Michael Fischer (, 925-212- 9653).

If you would be willing to help by providing salad, or a complementary dish, please let Jim know.  We are asked to have all dishes be vegetarian.
